KP2 sent Space Museum some lyrics to fit some music around. Space Museum also sketched out some more ambient pieces for KP2 to put words to.
Guide tracks and vocals were laid down and then KP2 took the results into 6dB Studios, Salford with DIng to record the main vocals.
Space Museum took the vocal files and manipulated the results against the original musical endeavours. Versions were sent back to KP2 and ideas were interchanged.
The organic process used here made for a totally different set of tunes than originally envisaged and a long way away from the initial KP2/Space Museum collaboration on Humble Bee and Smack Head Band
Towards to the end of the completion of the first four tracks Space Museum felt that the richness of the vocals/lyrics deserved more work and suggested that the original four tracks should be remixed/re-imagined to provide a counterbalance - reflecting the Passive/Aggressive nature of the title of the release. The music in the second half is therefore a little darker and more experimental.
